Privacy policy

This policy covers the Android game Shut-In Vampire, package com.shutinvampire.game, and explains how to contact its developer.

The game does not collect or transmit personal data

The game works offline and does not send your name, progress, device information, or other personal data to the developer or to third parties. It has no accounts, advertising, in-app purchases, analytics SDKs, or remote crash-reporting SDKs. The Android app does not request internet access, location, contacts, camera, or microphone permissions.

Information saved on your device

The game stores your chosen player name, progress, story choices, settings, and timing information needed to calculate idle earnings. This information stays in the app's local storage on your device. You can use a fictional player name. Music and effects are synthesized locally; the game does not record audio. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled.

You can reset game progress in Settings. To remove all app data, use Android's Clear storage option or uninstall the game. Without a manual exported save, deleted progress cannot be recovered by the developer. Resetting progress does not clear the separate sound preference or any legacy WebView save.

Manual save export and import

You may choose to copy an exported save or paste a save to import it. Exported saves include game progress, your chosen player name, and story choices, but not the separate sound preference. The game does not upload exports automatically. If you put an export in a file, clipboard, message, or cloud service, that copy is under your control and the relevant service's privacy practices apply. Resetting or uninstalling the game does not delete copies you made elsewhere.

Support requests

If you email nichkt@gmail.com, the developer receives your email address and the information you choose to include. This information is used to answer and resolve your request, not for advertising. Email providers process correspondence as part of delivering and storing email.

Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing the same address. Do not include passwords, payment information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Sending a saved game for troubleshooting is optional.

Age audience

The game is intended for teens and adults, not children under 13. It does not collect personal information through gameplay from players of any age. Regional store age ratings may differ.

This website and platform services

This static policy page has no advertising, analytics scripts, forms, or tracking cookies added by the developer. It is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub Pages logs and stores visitors' IP addresses for security purposes, whether or not they are signed into GitHub. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Google Play and Android provide distribution, device, and platform services under their own privacy practices. Those services are separate from the game's offline operation. See Google's Privacy Policy.
